Your Host
Susan Lindeque
Susan Lindeque is an entrepreneur, investor and executive with more than three decades of experience leading organizations on three continents. Susan is the founder and CEO of Florida-based Avestix, a privately held, woman-led investment firm that specializes in commercial real estate and private companies involved in AI, blockchain, quantum computing, and other cutting-edge technologies.
She recently expanded the firm’s ecosystem including the Fortuna Women Empowerment Network, a female-focused, interactive platform enabling women entrepreneurs to access a global network of women leaders and influencers who offer their insights and advice, and EMPOWERture, an inclusive and selective community of entrepreneurs, founders and funders.
Susan is also the managing member of her family’s single-family office, Lindeque Family Office, a Jupiter, Florida-based company.
Before launching Avestix, Susan served in leadership roles with KOMATSU Australia, a leading manufacturer and supplier of heavy equipment, technologies, and services. She also served as Chief Financial Officer for the South African arm of a Rolls Royce subsidiary focused on sustainable, climate-neutral power.
During her career, she has raised, invested, financed and managed more than $1 billion in real estate, private credit, private equity and venture capital endeavors. She has also managed assets and wealth on behalf of families, individuals, institutional investors, and corporations, and led corporate advisory services to private and public companies.
Susan is committed to championing the role of women across venture capital, real estate, family offices, and emerging technologies. Active in philanthropy, her passions involve children's education, supporting renewable energy, clean water and affordable housing on a global basis.
Susan is a certified chartered accountant and earned her degree in accounting from the University of South Africa. Susan is an elected member of the global family business network, FBN.
